Classroom Visit April 2023

Mrs. Beaner's presentations are engaging and of high interest to students. Lessons connect to students' lives so students understand the importance of the learning. Mrs. Beaner knows her audience and prepares lessons that are age appropriate and hands-on.

Show & Tell: Non-native vs. native Species
Chinese mantis egg cases are an example of a non-native species. They resemble tan toasted marshmallows. They are fairly round, about as long as wide, Ping-Pong-ball size; usually attached to twigs of bushes and small trees. They can help control populations of pest insects in gardens and agricultural fields.
